Moonlight

John Atkinson Grimshaw (1836-1893) ~ The Old Hall Under Moonlight
This oil painter became known as the Victorian painter of moonlight.

In the lonely serenade of moonlight mists
Through the stark notes of naked trees
I see the pale lights of our music
Still dancing
