just so full of rhythm.

perfect images we are inundated with them... so many get trapped into that game that cannot be won...
Love the sound play in "cloned/bone," and these images are so intriguing. Great piece, Gemma.
Wonderful ekphrasis poetry, which does not attempt to describe but the inhabit the painting. What a remarkable artist.
I get the ends of perfection here, where nothing needs to happen because everything's flawlessly line up. Skinny supermodels remind me of "cloned bone swimsuits." Airtight and no room to breathe. Amen.
A beautiful poem, Gemma. And perhaps subtle revolution is the very best sort. More likely to stick!
The faces are fascinating, Gemma, and have the power to evoke poems such as yours.

Love your (very valid) interpretation of those wonderful images Gemma.
Have a wonderful New Year.

… these images do scream "conformity" .. the looking off into the distance - the unblinking gaze leaves me unsettled.
